Please note rent charges change from the 1st July to £554.40 per month.

Preference to South Hams Band B applicants who are owed a Homeless main duty or HRA qualifying duty and who require the adaptations.

A section 106 local connection applies where we must consider applicants in the following order.

  • 1st to the parish of Ugborough which also includes Wrangaton, Bittaford and Moorhaven
  • 2nd to the parish of Ivybridge
  • 3rd to the whole of South Hams

The process will be to find someone with the 1st connection and only once the bidders list has been exhausted on this connection would we consider moving to the secondary then third connections respectively.

Only place your bid if you have a connection with one of the following criteria.

  • Currently live in the parish for 6 out of the past 12 months
  • In the past have lived in the parish for 3 out of the past 5 years
  • Currently working for an employer or self-employed, based in the parish for at least 16 hours per week on a permanent basis & have done for at least 6 months without a break in employment for more than 3 months.
  • Have an immediate family member (Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Son or Daughter) that currently lives in the parish and has done for the past 5 years

Evidence of your local connection will need to be provided & without the proof we will not consider you.

One month’s rent in advance is required regardless of any benefit entitlement, prior to signing the tenancy agreement. No Pets allowed except registered assistance Dogs.
