Devon Home Choice is a new way of allocating council and housing association homes in Devon.

Council and housing association homes available to rent in Devon are now advertised through Devon Home Choice

You will be able to bid for homes that meet your needs.

Homes will still be offered to those assessed as being in the most need.

Please note: There are far more people seeking a council or housing association home than there are homes available. There are currently 31,500 households registered with Devon Home Choice. 

Homes in the following local authority areas are currently being advertised with preference to applicants with a local connection to that particular local authority: East Devon, North Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge and West Devon. This is because more people from other parts of Devon have moved into these areas than have moved out, and the difference has reached the agreed limit of 2% of homes let within that area. Click here for more information on bidding for homes in other parts of Devon
